At the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers’ Meet in Qingdao, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made strong remarks against Pakistan, stating that “epicentres of terrorism will no longer be spared.” Addressing counterparts from Russia, China, and Central Asia, Singh emphasized India’s commitment to combat cross-border terrorism.
He highlighted the need for regional cooperation against radicalization, drone threats, and proxy warfare, noting that “peace and terror cannot coexist.” His remarks come amid recent ceasefire tensions on the western border and drone infiltration reports in Punjab and J&K.
