Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has stirred a fresh political controversy by alleging that a section of BJP leaders are conspiring to remove the current CM Bhajan Lal Sharma. Speaking at a public meeting in Jodhpur, Gehlot claimed the plot is backed by senior BJP figures in Delhi and Jaipur.
He accused the government of failing to address public grievances and called for “jan sunwai” (public hearings) across the state to hear citizen concerns. “The people of Rajasthan voted with hope, but the government is paralyzed by internal conflict,” Gehlot said. The BJP has not yet responded officially to the allegations.
