Bilaspur, May 03. The 7 days Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) Leader Trainer Training Course organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh was inaugurated in Bilaspur. On this occasion, State Chief Commissioner Dr. Somnath Yadav said that the HWB course is an important milestone for every scout.
Addressing the leaders who arrived at the training course, Dr. Yadav said that every scouter should achieve this milestone so that they can become a successful scout trainer and provide its benefits to the students. He wished all the trainees to obtain the HWB degree with discipline and hard work.
The course is being organized at Aadharshila Vidya Mandir New Sainik School, Koni. 70 scout masters from different districts of the state are participating in the course. The trainees will receive education of various dimensions as per the syllabus in the 7 days course. The successful trainees will be felicitated by the National Headquarters by giving them HWB certificate and bit.
The LOC of Scout Wing is Santosh Kumar Sahu. Assistant LOC are Vijay Yadav, Shantanu Kurre, Poonam Sahu, Girish Padhi, Mrityunjay Shukla. The LOC of Rover Wing is State Secretary Kailash Soni. Amit Kumar Chhatri, Dilip Patel, Suraj Kasar, Jitendra Dansena, Pradeep Sen are providing their services as assistant LOC.
