Raipur, November 7, 2025 : School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav today attended the Bhoomi Pujan for the State Headquarters Office Building of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, held at the Board of Secondary Education, Pensionbada office complex, as the chief guest.
Minister Shri Yadav said, “The spirit with which the Scouts and Guides were founded must always remain. Scouts and Guides teach us to live happily. All training institutions in the state will be strengthened and made more excellent.”
Shri Yadav also assured that the Bhoomi Pujan was completed today, and the construction of the State Office Building will be completed within the next one year, and will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister.
State Chief Commissioner Shri Inderjit Singh Khalsa, who attended the event as a special guest, highlighted the objectives of the Scouts and Guides movement and its role in youth empowerment.
Other distinguished guests included Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Raipur, Mrs. Pushpa Sahu, State Treasurer Muralidhar Sharma, and G. Swamy was prominently present. The welcome address was given by Jitendra Kumar Sahu, State Secretary, Bharat Scouts and Guides.
On this occasion, District Education Officer Himanshu Bharti, Mrs. Sarita Pandey (State Training Commissioner), Scout and Guide members from various districts of the state, officers, and staff were present in large numbers.
