Rover Ranger Jamboree to be held in Raipur, 10 thousand youth from India and abroad will gather

Meeting held in New Delhi to finalize the event

New Delhi, 9th June. 10 thousand youth from India and abroad will gather in the capital of Chhattisgarh. The occasion will be the closing ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee of Bharat Scouts and Guides and the first Rover-Ranger Jamboree.

A meeting was held in New Delhi on Monday under the chairmanship of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh President and Member of Parliament Brijmohan Agarwal. National Chief Commissioner of The Bharat Scouts and Guides Dr. KK Khandelwal, Director Darshna Pawaskar, State Chief Commissioner of Chhattisgarh Dr. Somnath Yadav, State Secretary Kailash Soni participated in this meeting. In the meeting, the closing ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee of The Bharat Scouts and Guides and the first Rover Ranger Jamboree were finalized. This event will be held in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh in December.

It is worth noting that The Bharat Scouts and Guides have entered the 75th year of its establishment. On the commencement of the 75th year, the Diamond Jubilee Jamboree was organized in Tamil Nadu last year. The closing ceremony will be held in Raipur and along with this the first Rover-Ranger Jamboree will also be organized. 10 thousand scouts, guides, rovers, rangers from the country and abroad will gather in this grand event.

Member of Parliament Brijmohan Agarwal said that an action plan has been prepared for the closing ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee and the first Rover-Ranger Jamboree. Through this event, the art and culture of Chhattisgarh will be taken to the country and abroad. This will be a unique event in itself.

State Chief Commissioner Dr. Somnath Yadav said that through this event, participants from the country and abroad will present their culture and will exchange cultures. Other activities and competitions including adventure will also be organized during this period. The event will be held at the Mela Ground in Naya Raipur.
