Korba District Emerging as a Model in Scouting : State Chief Commissioner Khalsa
State Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides Visits Korba

Korba : On Tuesday, December 16th, State Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh, Mr. Indrajeet Singh Khalsa held an introductory meeting with officials and leaders of Korba District.
At the meeting held at the District Scout Office, Korba, State Chief Commissioner Mr. Khalsa stated that under the leadership of District Chief Commissioner Mohammed Sadique Sheikh, Korba District is emerging as a model in the field of Scouting throughout the state. He stated that efforts are being made to expand the Scout movement in the state in a qualitative manner, with a focus on membership growth.

The State Chief Commissioner stated that preparations for the first National Rover Ranger Jamboree in Balod are underway in full swing. Rovers, Rangers, Senior Scouts, Guides, and leaders from Chhattisgarh and other states are excited to participate in the Jamboree. The Governor, Chief Minister, several Union Ministers and other dignitaries will also attend the jamboree. The State Chief Commissioner said that with the spirit of continuity and teamwork, scouting has to be accelerated and records have to be set.
District Education Officer and District Commissioner (Scout) Tamreshwar Upadhyay assured that Korba district will actively participate in the jamboree.

District Chief Commissioner Mohammed Sadique Sheikh informed about the scouting activities in the district. State Chief Commissioner Mr. Indrajeet Singh Khalsa was honored by presenting him a symbol.
During this, Sandeep Kataria from Raipur, District Secretary Bharat Singh Verma, District Joint Secretary Rekha Rani Lal, DTC (Guide) Ganeshi Sonkar, DOC duo Digamber Singh Kaushik, Uttra Manikpuri along with district and development block officials, leaders, Rovers, Rangers were present.
