Tragedy struck Amritsar Saturday when an 18-wheel trailer truck fatally crushed three individuals, including a mother and her son, on the city’s outskirts. The victims, on a motorcycle, were caught by surprise as the truck, carrying iron girders, suddenly reversed. Raman, 23, his mother Geeta, and friend Sunny, 27, died instantly. Police have detained the driver, investigating the horrific incident.
